Cygneture Title Solutions Presented with MBFC’s VetLoan Advantage Rebate of $3,000

Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is honored to present Suz and Kyle Pohl our VetLoan Advantage Rebate of $3,000. This Rebate is part of the Strategic Initiative of the National Association of Development Company’s (NADCO) VetLoan Advantage program. MBFC is the only Certified Development Company in Minnesota to offer a rebate to business owners that are active or retired members of Military Service.

Cygneture Title Solutions provide real estate closing services such as abstracting and title insurance. They are located in Baxter, MN and cover North Central Minnesota from Little Falls to Longville. They have served clients for thousands of transactions and “strive to be Minnesota’s most thorough real estate closing professionals.” Also pictured are Todd Brown and Emily Rardin from Randall State Bank office in Brainerd as the lead lender on the project.

Suz (Suzanne) Pohl is the sole owner of Cygneture and her husband Kyle is a guarantor on the SBA 504 loan. Kyle’s military service includes joining the Army Reserves in 1985. He then joined the Army National Guard in 1991 working in a tanker unit at Camp Ripley in Minnesota. Through transfers and deployments to Panama, Honduras, Korea, and activated in 2003 for training in Colorado then to Iraq, Kyle has had tremendous service and was able to retire with 20 years of service in February 2005. MBFC would like to thank Kyle for his military service and thank Cygneture Title Solutions by awarding them our VetLoan Rebate.

MBFC Presents a Grant to the North Central SBDC in Brainerd

Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) recently awarded an economic development grant to the North Central Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Brainerd, MN. Nadene Kruize, Senior Vice President of MBFC presented the check at the Central Lakes College location of the SBDC to Greg Bergman, the Regional Director of the center.

Bergman noted the grant is being used as loan packaging assistance to small businesses and aspiring business owners in North Central Minnesota. Services included in this program assist with bank, SBA, DEED, and regional loan programs (including SBA 504 loan packages) to facilitate small business growth.

The North Central SBDC works with approximately 11 counties in Central Minnesota and provides essential business training, assistance, and programming for improving economic growth in Minnesota.

S&E Investments, LLC purchased a commercial building in Sauk Rapids, MN. Jason Steffes and Keith Eisenschenk own Tech X Direct, LLC an online retailer of various product lines with an emphasis on fireplace and hearth technology. Keith and Brenda Eisenschenk own Inteleconnect, Inc. which is a telecommunications consulting business. Brenda is the founder and President. With the new commercial property, both Inteleconnect and Tech X Direct will move to this location.

Keith was a member of the Airforce Reserves for 9 years based out of Minneapolis. He focused on Civil Engineering projects such as repairing runways. Thank you for your service to our country! Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is a statewide Certified Development Company, originating and servicing SBA 504 fixed asset commercial loans in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration since 1983 covering the entire state of Minnesota and select counties in North Dakota and Wisconsin.

Due to a recent retirement, we have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Business Development Officer. Business development activities include calling on bank/lending and economic development partners, prospects and existing borrowers.  This positions emphasis will be on Northern MN counties and other areas as determined.  This position will evaluate and recommend approval of SBA 504 Loan Applications.  This position will also conduct and facilitate timely loan closings and fundings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years commercial lending experience.  SBA lending experience is preferable.
  • Four year college degree in business, finance or related field.
  • Proven business development skills.
  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze business financial statements.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.

Dairy Queen of Roseau Receives MBFC’s VetLoan Advantage Rebate

Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is honored to present Orlando Peralta and Andrew Peralta, owners of Dairy Queen of Roseau, MN, our VetLoan Advantage Rebate of $3,000. This Rebate is part of the Strategic Initiative of the National Association of Development Company’s (NADCO) VetLoan Advantage program. Orlando is a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard.  The brothers have worked with the DQ franchise since the age of 16. With the help of MBFC utilizing the SBA 504 Loan Program in partnership with Unity Bank North, Orlando and Andrew purchased the existing Dairy Queen store in Roseau, MN. Andrew also owns the Thief River Falls DQ restaurant. Roseau is about 60 miles from Thief River Falls and located in Northern Minnesota.  Recently the Roseau Dairy Queen has been remodeled with interior and exterior renovations in the new look of “DQ Grill & Chill” style.

Dairy Queen of Roseau is a successful franchise for the Peralta brothers and being positioned along a major highway attracts visitors and locals!
