 (Pictured: Joe Kammermeier, Vice President-MBFC and Dale Umlauf, Vice President-Business and Economic Development-WCI) On March 16, 2016 Joe Kammermeier, Vice President of MBFC, presented a $1,500 grant to Dale Umlauf, Vice President-Business and Economic Development for West Central Initiative (WCI).
West Central Initiative plans to apply these funds to operation support for their Business Development programs that provide financial and technical assistance to businesses and entrepreneurs. WCI’s Business Development program offers loans and consulting services to businesses in West Central Minnesota. The primary goal is to strengthen the economy and grow businesses. WCI works throughout the following counties: Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse, and Wilkin.
