March 16, 2016, Joe Kammermeier, Vice President of Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) presented a check for $1,500 to Amy Baldwin, Executive Director of Fergus Falls Economic Improvement Commission (FFEIC).
FFEIC is working in partnership with the “Otter Tail County Rural Rebound Initiative”. This project has three mail goals: recruiting workers needed in the region, with emphasis on the rural rebound population; exchange information and collaborate within the region to encourage labor force growth and economic growth in the county; develop a nationally recognized institute for rural youth leadership that will educate and encourage consideration of careers in the region.
The overall goal is to coordinate efforts to attract, develop, retain and expand the workforce pool in Otter Tail County.
